Another CCM Hydraulic Top Link

My 'biggest' issue with my HTL is there's no place to 'hang it' since it's too big to fit in the one the manual top link does. Has anyone come up with a solution?

Don't know if you can tell in the pic or not. I bent the stock top link holder 90 degrees and it know hooks onto the cylinder fluid outlet that is at the closed end. Works great. I had to do some major reworking of my stock top link holder on my 7520 so that it would hold the hydraulic top link on that tractor.

Mike why not go buy a length of 3/16" rod and bend a larger replacement TL hanger. I'll pick up some rod this week and see if how it works out.

Looking forward to see if this works. :)

Mike, I don't know if your hanger is vertical like MtnViewRanch's or horizontal like mine. I found that since mine is horizontal, I can hook it under the rigid tubing between the DPOCV and the cylinder fitting. The rigid tubing is plenty strong to hold up the weight of the HTL.

If you can't get your holder around the tubing, you might put an S-hook on it and bend the hook shut on both ends so that it stays in place when disconnected.

I ordered mine yesterday. The lady that took my order told me that it would ship today. Maybe I'll get it tomorrow. I live in Alabama, so it's not that farm from CCM.

She told me that mark was sick and out for a couple days.

The hanger is horizontal like yours. I will try your suggestion. Thanks! :)

Hi Steve,
Hope by now you have that hydraulic top link installed and working?
We sure want to hear your feedback and photos of it. Like Jim said, you will certainly love it and wonder why you didn't get it 4 years ago ...lol. Even attaching your implements will be easier rather than cranking out the manual one to line up the pin hole. Let alone the benefit form adjusting it on the fly.
As for the hook to hold the cylinder, like you were saying, I just formed a new shape so it would fit the cylinder. After all, I'll never have the manual one on again. right? I also have a really big tool box on the rear fender. When I put an implement on that doesn't need the top link (like a post hole digger), I store the top link in the tool box, or even bungee it to the ROPS vertically with hoses and all still attached.

Just watch the fittings/hoses clearance/orientation, those hoses are stiff and cannot come in contact with anything close to the cylinder or you'll end up with what happened to me. First time I lifted the 3 point the hoses made contact with the PBY frame and bent the hard lines so bad they leaked.

Felt like a real bozo :(

Doesn't seem to be any best way to install, some put the hoses down, some up, some out the side etc. I changed the position of the valve and turned to the side a little, for the length of my hoses this has worked out best for me.

Good luck, JB

Hope to install it Saturday morning. I did pick up a length of rod this morning so I hope to make a new TL holder as well.

I got mine installed a couple weeks ago, but just got around to taking pictures yesterday. I ordered the 36" hoses so I could turn the check valve to the side.

I ordered it on the 17th of Feb, they shipped on the 18th, and I got it on the 19th. I installed it on the 20th. Now that is service!!!
