Snow I am tired of snow

A little too much here in the WV panhandle. My little BX2200 was able to lift one end of the roof high enough to pull the ski boat out, with my friend's JD at the other end. The pontoon has to stay until the building is disassembled. It took me several hours to shovel the snow off the roof! Most of it was 28-36" deep when I shoveled it off. Thankfully the boats are insured.

Man, that sucks! :(

Ahhh... come on girls... suck it up and smile. With the exception of Pdowling1 the rest of ye haven't got much to complain about, other than a lot of "quality time" with your machinery.

Seriously, it does get pretty old after a while, if you've got something better you want to do.

How many more days till Spring? Yes, the snow plowing is getting old! Very snowy Winter this year!

We have had very little in northern New England; no measurable snow in almost 6 weeks and we could really use some. Of course I bought a 5' snowblower so no wonder it stopped!

Pdoweling, how come you didn't shovel that roof before the building came down, or is that all from one storm?!

I just heard on the rado this morning we only have 100 more days of snow possible here in Mn, personally I love plowing snow with my JD 3320 and usually take care of most of my neighbors and my own two drive ways, sometimes I plow up to 10 friends and neighbors out especially with the heavy wet stuff and I don't charge them anything at all, just being a friendly neighbor, but I do accept a case of beer or a good bottle here and there.

I figure it's better than watching the tube in the evening! and fun to suit up in the carharts and play in the snow again.

:D

I bought a 4' snow blower summer of '08, and that winter we got a total of about a foot, with the deepest single event about 4".

This year, I saw a killer deal on a 5' blower (which, I bought, of course), and sold the 4' one. I expected another snow-free winter for that deed. I got two nice big snows to use it, and it is AWESOME! I want more!

Of course, you have four seasons, pre-winter, winter, still winter, and summer.

We got about another 6-7 inches today I am so tired of it. we don't get this kind of snow down here so I am done with it. I made a front plow today that is angled to to push snow and am runing out of room off the sides of the driveway to push it off to with the angle. Down here in south eastern indiana we have had 3 storms in a row and know they are talking about another one this weekend already. Once I plow it down to the gravel and can see gravel here and their I would like to beable to salt it some times. I was thinking about one of them 12v atv salters since they are cheap anyone ever tried one.

Not to much in Maine this year. We got slammed every week last winter though. I was glad I had my little tractor to plow and pile up snow with and didn't have to depend on a clumsy plow truck in my drive and turnarounds.

Last year's Maine winter is the reason I got my tractor. Enjoy the seat time, it may be very different next year.

Come up to Muncie. Night and day difference. I was born and raised in Connersville. Funny how things differ north and south of I70. We have drifting over the mailboxes on most north-south county roads. We have about 30" on the ground and the kids have missed school for 7 days strait. I have heard ice and snow this weekend and Monday with as much as 10" more accumulation.
