It does speak to a uniquely high level of bewilderment, doesn't it?
I've loved watching the games in HD. Several of the outdoor events are so clear that it's like sitting on the sidelines without dealing with the crowds or being cold, not to mention having to spend the money to get there.
I've also noticed that the direct digital HDTV reception of the OTA broadcast from our local NBC station is breathtaking. The same signal over DishNetwork is not nearly as vivid. We have one HDTV on dish and another with an antenna on the roof. The OTA digital HDTV is absolutely stunning.![]()
I agree the OTA signal is far and away better than the Dish "HD" version. I automatically record the 10 o'clock news on Channel 8 Dallas and have to go to 7522 Dish to watch the Olympics in the meantime and by comparison it is terrible. For the most part the DISH HD channels are great, but the network channels are not at all great.
