4320 Radio Antenna

I believe that they don't need an external antenna. My buddy has a 3720 with a cab and it has no antenna that you can see. The reception seem good, as long as you are out doors. (pretty scratchy in there shop)
Quote from the salesmanual.deere.com about the cab model for the 3320-3720s, "Integrated roof-mounted antenna is protected from potential damage from trees and branches". I would guess that it is the same for a 4320 so wouldn't the antenna cable be a part of the wiring harness.

Sounds like your cab did not have a radio in it?
If not, your best bet is to get the radio mount kit..it includes the Bezel, Speaker and all necessary wiring....

I was at my Deere dealer today looking at the top of my cab. The green top was off, I just wanted to see what all was in there. I have no radio or speakers. Since the top is fiberglass (which is clear when you break it) and the bottom molding is plastic (also clear if you break it) it would be easy to put an antenna in there and have it work just fine. I don't know if it's in all units, or if when you get the bezel it's part of that and the antennae wire just get routed through some path in the top. My guess is it's the latter since there was nothing that looked link an antenna wire in there, and no connector for an antenna near where the radio would be. Should have taken a picture...

It sounds like you purchased the optional radio mount/speaker kit when you ordered your tractor. If so, the kit includes an internal radio antenna. The antenna wire should be next to the wiring harness once you remove the top of the cab for your radio installation. Hope this helps.
My 4320 with cab did not come with a radio.I installed the radio without taking off the top of the cab.I took off the headliner to install it .I put in my speakers,and when installing the radio I found the wiring harness for the radio,but no antenna wire.Is it surpose to be there or will I have to add one?Am I looking in the wrong place or do I have to take off the top of the cab to find it?

Was there a mount to bolt the radio to? If so, since you have the wiring harness, it must have come with the kit. I know that I ordered my tractor w/o a radio but I had to purchase the mounting kit for approx. $50.00 when placing my order. If you have the mount, I bet you have the antenna wire. I believe you need to take the roof off (or at least take the bolts out and lift up the left side) to determine if the antenna wire is there. You will have to take the roof off anyway if there is no antenna wire to install a new one. Good luck!!!!

Sounds like you didnt buy the mount kit... The antenna comes with the mount kit....what did you do for the Bezel?:confused2:
Had you bought the correct parts and followed the instructions included, this would have been a 10 minute job....
