40 inches of snow since Tuesday morning. All cleaned up now. Cleaned off shed roofs twice, walk ways and deck four or five times, three tanks of diesel fuel and a boat load of hours. Oh, cleaned off the hot tub at least 7 or 8 times.

I was wondering where my snow was. Except for one storm in January I've been looking at my lawn all winter.

I want my snow!!!!!!!!!

Nice pictures.

If no one else is will you can have some of our snow. I have a couple of piles that are better part of 6' tall:)

Safe and sound, I was thinking if it were not for the horses and the barn yard, snow plowing would take a third of the time.

We had about 14" over the last three days is all, but it is heavy and wet. Those winds didn't make to us inland, just regular gusts here. Sure has made a mess out of the driveway. Had to clean three mornings in a row, destroyed my driveway crown. Just wet, gushy 1" minus gravel under the snow.

Saw a news video of a white pine that fell on a house and a branch went through the roof and ceiling and speared through a baby's crib - baby was in the crib but the branch missed it thank goodness. Very scary picture.

Did remind me that I have a white pine that is close enough to my garage to reach if it went over. It's coming down this Spring, no sense in taking those risks.

We have had 8' plus the last two years, guess the jet stream pushed things a little south this year. I think Global warming means more moisture to play with in the atmosphere, where it goes is on the winds of adventure.
