Snow Equipment Owning/Operating Snow plowed for the third time in three days

We had about 14" over the last three days is all, but it is heavy and wet. Those winds didn't make to us inland, just regular gusts here. Sure has made a mess out of the driveway. Had to clean three mornings in a row, destroyed my driveway crown. Just wet, gushy 1" minus gravel under the snow.

Saw a news video of a white pine that fell on a house and a branch went through the roof and ceiling and speared through a baby's crib - baby was in the crib but the branch missed it thank goodness. Very scary picture.

Did remind me that I have a white pine that is close enough to my garage to reach if it went over. It's coming down this Spring, no sense in taking those risks.

There are many out there taking this risk who aren't aware of it.

Up to 90 hrs seat time for the winter.

Never did like pine trees and this is ONE of the reasons.

:laughing: I told the girls to keep working and moving or they would be covered over with snow and we would not find them until spring. Actually that would have worked 10 years ago but the girls are now 19 and 23 and they did not buy into it.

I hear ya !! I live in Garrett County Md. right above Frostburg on Savage Mountain. I have a 2.5 mile driveway that winds up over the mountain and I am sick and tired of this snow. I bought a new Kubota MX5100 2 weeks ago and I already have 65 hours on it !!!
I had to have a Michigan front end loader come up and remove a few drifts that were well over 12ft high !! C"MON SPRING !!!!!

either way .I worked your area for the past 30yrs...Winters are bad in your area.. you have at least 1-2ft more snow than us, if you're on top near WFRB tower ..From your location to Md-WV line going W is a bear ...For years I drove from Morgantown or Bruceton to Cumberland-Keyser-Oakland area sometime 2 or 3 times a day,summer or winter.Then on weekends would drive to Martinsburg to see or daughter and grandsons..
Glad I'm traveling that area as much . Good reason why sign on I68 says ADVERSE Weather conditions

I live on a farm directly behind the weigh station ( about 3 miles back). off the Midlothian exit and then up over the mountain from there.
I work in Hazelton Wv. so I drove through the worst weather on a daily basis..

Those winds made it to me almost 5 days with no power. Most of the state had no power. Trees uprooted everywhere it was a big mess.
