Oh yeah, runs great. It is so nice having it back in operation. I was lucky that the 12" of snow we were suppose to get last weekend skipped us so I made do with a shovel but I had to push 5" of snow this morning and it did awesome. I think it might even be torquier than the last motor. Before the rebuild the motor just always seemed to want to die before the tires spun this one I have to be careful it just keeps going. I asked Power-Trac if I was getting a new pump, rebuild my old pump or a used pump. They said yes to all three, hmmm it must have been pretty bad inside that thing. Hey, it pushes the snow out of the way so it works great.

Just a note; my motors have buried in the owners manual the admonition to not run them over 50% power for the first 15 hours... I don't know if it applies to pumps, but it probably wouldn't hurt to take it easy as things break in.

The fact you have an owners manual at all speaks volumes. I have one, it is a parts catalog of sorts. And a half page of "maintenance" suggestions

Thanks I will keep that in mind for the next 14 hours. I didn't even have it at full throttle, I wasn't working it to hard. I didn't get an owners manual either, I got a parts catalog to like Wooklandfarms did.

I didn't get a full blown owners manual from PT either. I just blew a motor seal at 3.5 hours or so, and decided to match my motors to find the manufacturer, and then read their owners manual.
