I have a 1970s B7100 4WD with the OEM snow thrower. The oil feed hose between the oil distribution block and the control valve blew and I've had it made twice, both times they used the wrong fittings.
Does anyone know where to buy the OEM hose or know the correct hose and fitting sizes? Thank you.

What is the pressure rating of the hoses? Does your valve have a relief. If you gave the parts guy a hose to copy from, they should have used the equivalent fitting, and the correct hose for the pressure. Maybe switch repair shops.

Did you specify the fittings you wanted, and the hose requirements?

I don't know how available factory hoses for that will be. Do you still have the old hoses? If so, look in the phone book for another hose shop. You could also google "Eaton Weatherhead" and find a distributor in your area. If you don't have the old hoses, remove the fittings that the hose went to. Measure how long the hose should be. Go to a different hose shop and tell them you need 2 wire hose to go to your fittings at whatever length you need. If you can post a pic of the fittings, I can identify them. I'm not sure what exactly Kubota might have used back then.

Good Luck,
Andy

Good advice (as usual), post a picture of the ports, and measurements and we can identify the proper fittings...

If you snow blower is a Kubota Model B-222A, I have an owners/parts manual that lists the origional kubota part numbers for the hoses. If that will help.
I know some of the kubota blowers were single stage. My B-222A is a 2 stage.

I went to O'Wrongleys on my way to work one night, stated on store front "We do hydraulic hoses". Thought hay I can get a hose (laying in back seat) made up while in here. After 30 mn. of standing there I finally went back and told them what fittings they needed. Asked them what pressure rating it was (hose) and got a blank stare. Do not trust that anywhere that they say "We do hydraulic hoses", chances are the kids behind the counter never made any, not alone have any idea of the different threads.

That's what happens when you go to an auto store for hydraulic hoses. People don't come to me for auto parts. In my travels when I was working on a customer's piece of equipment and in a bind, I would go to an auto store for hoses. There have been times I made them myself. Should have charged them for the training. Was in an auto store the other night to grab a headlight bulb. Another customer needed to splice 1/4" gas hose and they were gonna do it with 1/4" brake line and hose clamps. I walked over to the air fitting section and picked up a brass hose mender and threw it on the counter and said, "Try this." Explained to the counterman how all the brass air hose stuff could be used on low pressure fluid applications. He thanked me and still charged me list. Yep, he is a Richard Cranium.
