Check the fuel filter again. It may be you have more contaminants in your fuel. More info would help like where you are what the high and low temps are.

Agree with filter ,maybe some water in fuel have any fuel additive to add to tank.

You'll need to get the EPA-registered liquid fuel catalyst that contains fungicide, anti-bacteria, and evaporator. 1 oz treats 20 gallons.

What has happened is your fuel has gone out of solution. Water drops to the bottom of the tank. Fuel rides atop it. In between is a layer of air that becomes the breeding ground for fungii, bacteria etc.... brought about by the various grains, veggies and animal fat added to fuel you get at the pump.

Hope this helps.

Or just pull the tank, dump, rinse and re-install with fresh filter, fuel etc :D

Would it not be easier/cheaper to simply pour in a dose of the EPA-registered catalyst together with their aggressive fuel-line cleaner?

Think about it....
Removing the tank from time to time is avoidable not to mention the lost cash by dumping contents. (Your Costs add up quickly: down-time, labor, possible damage to tank etc..., wasted fuel at $X/gallon....Adds up. .... as compared with $1.50 or so per 20 gallons of fuel.)

The filter can still be changed if you choose to.

Hope this helps.

Additive won't get rid of accumulated solids like dirt, rust (if metal tank) etc. that lead to filter clogging.

Hi Charlz,
You are absolutely correct.....however there was no mention of dirt, solids.

It's up to Jsubeh of course to determine chance of accumulation of dirt. It would help if he could shine a safety light into the tank.

That said: Knowing how today's diesel fuel breaks down so readily, my senses indicate the EPA-registered catatyst accompanied by the aggressive, commercial fuel line cleaner might be the least costly first line of attack.

When diesel fuel falls out of solution, water drops to the bottom of the fuel tank.....When water gets sucked into the fuel line, Jsubeh will experience the symptoms he described.

Hope this is helpful.
