I changed fluids per manual. Put in the amount specified. Dip-stick shows a lot of overfill. Will this damage anything? Tractor is Kubota 7510 with FEL.
Thanks.

There is a few things that can create severe damages on the reservoir....all are over pressure...
-there need to be expansion room for volume increase from raised temperature and eventually mixed in air in the oil
-there need to be room for that voulme of oil, that the piston rods are moving to tank when retracting a cylinder....this volume will be very big (100%) on single action cylinders...

If you have all cylinders retracted, when filling oil, 5-10% expansion space in tank (of the whole volume of oil in the system) should be ok....
If all cylinders are extended when filling oil, you will need the volume of all piston rods, addad to those 5-10%.....

Just suck out fluid until the dip stick reads right. Run it through all it's functions, and add fluid as necessary.

Thanks for the advice. I pumped it down to top of dipstick. Seems to have somewhat quieted an annoying screechwhen travelling downhill at road speed. Could that be related?
Thanks.
