Could someone post the adjustment procedure for the HST foot pedal ? Our tractor wants to creep in reverse when you dont have your foot on the pedal.

Thanks, Ken

Mine too, and it creeps. It started when ther was only about 6 hours on the machine.

There's a small piston (probably pneumatic) on the R/H side of the gear box with linkage going to the HST pedals. The piston (about 2" dia.) has shafts on both sides and it all links to a large shaft going into the gearbox.

The ONLY possible adjustment I see is a 12mm nut on the forward piston shaft, but I have not taken any reference measurements yet to get this back where it came from in case any adjustments I make FUBAR the HST response.

Right now, the creep is slight but annoying in both FWD and REV. I'll report back if I'm able to diagnose and fix it..

Here's the adjustment for your pedal. Open the jpeg file with paint and enlarge if you need to. I also attached it as a doc file.

You are the man, George. I have been using computers in my business since 1986 and today I can't get pictures like that on TBN. I have had people try to show me, but if I can't physically get my hands on it I can't seem to do it. I envy you computer people.

I'm not that great of a computer guy. I know just enough to get by. I wish I was more computer savvy then I'd be able to find out why it takes my computer so long to boot up.
I do know how to scan a page on my combination printer, scanner, copier, from a book or picture and save it as a file which is all I did.

Ok George, I will say it to, YOU ARE THE MAN.

We have the tractor inside and going to get it adjusted. I have a small boat shop and we move the boats around with the tractor. It makes it a bit of a pain when it wants to creep back.

Thanks again George, and everyone else. Ken
