WOW.....can you guys hear yourselves? Bed liner and regular painting of a loader bucket to touch up scratches?:laughing:

THIS IS A LOADER BUCKET MAN!!! It's meant to work in the dirt and rocks and stuff! If you want to wax something...buy a car!:laughing:

I'd be afraid it may help to possibly trap moisture{??} I know that if that stuff is used on the undercarriage of vehicles it actually causes more damage then not, atleast up here. Looks pretty for a while but when it starts to flake it traps water and salt{from the roads} and holds it nice and tight to the metal, causing rust.

Guess everyone else got their $.02 in, so I will, too! :p

Anything you put on the inside of the bucket...think about taking a hammer and chisel to it a few times. If it will chip or be damaged by the chisel, loading rocks and digging surely will. Essentially the same effect.

I meant to add: putting a "shine" on implements like a disc, plow, (even underside of your rotary cutter) and ground-engaging implements LIKE YOUR LOADER BUCKET will make them work so much more efficiently. "Shine" here is meant to say wearing off the paint from working surfaces to make them slick.

Keeping some paint on the non working parts is fine.....but a shine on the working parts really does aid in performance.

Besides....I never trust a guy with shiny tools.

foggy...I agree with you...LOL...reminds me of years ago when folks used to put the clear plastic vinyl all over all their funiture...You ever try and sit on that ? It is a tractor not a Porsche...use it and get it dirty and scratched up but maintain it well.

After a good hard use spray the bucket down with your used oil, or if it's too ugly for you, spray it with some left over diesel fuel. It will keep the bucket from rusting where the paint is gone, and keep mud from sticking to the inside. That's about the best your going to do.

I have an story for ya...

There is a kid down the road here that has a new idea..
He is doing tractor detailing for $200.
He comes over to your house and makes your tractor look used so no one has to think your too lazy to work your toy...

problem is I don't know many tractor owners that need his service.

now that I think about it, maybe that is his way to say well mom I had a job idea but no one is buying can I get an allowance?

boy that sounds like a Larry the cable guy story huh?

Ok ok-- I made it up.. but funny eh?
