I have a 2008 Teryx, and I used it for ranch work, and there are a few things I suggest you do. You can see my Teryx at
Home.
First, I have aftermarket tires, which makes this worse, but fender flares really help keeping mud out of the cab.....a lot!
I would put on a winch....I've used my for so many things.
You will get a lot of mud behind the seats. A redesign of those rubber flaps by attaching to the bed was done in 09...not sure how well that work, but I solved by another route. I fabricated a piece of metal that covered that area, it stopped 99% of the mud from going there. You will want to do something for sure.
I fabricated flat bed rails to put over the bed. Helps strengthen the rear fenders. I cracked one pretty bad, some fiberglass repaired it, but my ranch use is hard on the rear fenders. As added strength after doing this, I put bedliner over the tops of the bed rails and in the bed. Turns out I really like it after doing that.
Finally....I would like to put in a gas gauge. I have not done so yet, but the lack of it, has caused me to hoof it more than I like. I've ran out of fuel 4-5 times now. You would think I would learn, but fuel use is inconsistent, idling, winch work, etc, and with it in use regular every day, you just lose track. Having said that, my use is changing with the ranch up for sale...so not sure I'll ever install one, but it really is needed.
BTW...once you learn to power slide in the mud....big long slides...you'll have even more fun.
