Kioti DK45S Cab, Quicktach FEL
Adding a Kioti DK45S Cab FEL to the stable.:) After a couple of years reserching every brand on TBN, machinery shows, fairs and dealers lots I finally went with Kioti. My dealer is Lyle Woods of Off Duty Ranch and he will deliver Thursday or Friday. I will post some pics when it arrives and a few of it doing some chores around the farm. I have a spot cleaned out next to the JD4430 in the shop for when it arrives.
I think it should fit our small goat dairy and hay operation fine. The cab will be nice for haymaking.

Congratulations.
I like the 45S. The self leveling loader and very slow low gear if you need it for tilling.
Good luck with it.

Hey HHM,

Congrats! I'm sure you will love it. Just remember that Chevy Orange is a pretty good match for when you get the first scratches. And make sure to wax it weekly! <grin>.

Also, the stock headlights are useless with the FEL in the way, so get some extra lights mounted on the ROPS before fall.

Congrats and Welcome to the Pack!

That DK45 sure is a beast of a tractor! Looking forward to pictures.

I've had mine about four years now and so far have few complaints.
As far as cab-- heat and AC were a problem, will not roast you out in the winter or freeze you in the summer but it does an o.k job. Kioti had been told there was a problem but not sure if they ever addressed the issue. It has been used for just about every type of farming operation and has performed well.

I also have a dk45s. I have never found this tractor to be lacking. I have had mine for almost 4 yrs. I have thought about upgrading and have never found another tractor that is a better bang for my buck.

Enjoy.

Oleozz is correct regarding heat and AC. Although with the heat on in summer it will roast ya out and AC on in winter will chill ya to the bone! Great tractor though!

Great Pic! What kind of plow are you pullin? I will let you know how the air and heat does. It is a new 2009. I demoed it feeding a round bale in some very muddy conditions up hill. It didn't slip once.

I plan on using it with a Kuhn G25 3pt rotary rake/tedder combo also. My son has been using an old Farmall M with a Deere bar rake. It has no roll over protection and it was possible to turn short and have the rake climb the tire. The Kioti DK45 and 3pt rake will be a lot safer for him. I plan on getting a grapple and hay accumilator for small bales. I will be going with an 8 bale so the DK45 should handle it. May need to add some wheel weights or load the tires.

Thanks for all the great feed back guys.

Sounds like you will be putting the 45 to good use. The plow is a Hawse, 2 bottom 12 inch, pulls like a boat anchor, gets very little use since I have a 4 btm IH plow that I use with another tractor.
I think your plan for getting the tires filled is a good idea for better stability and traction.
