Oil cooler line falls of engine runs away

Has anyone else had this happen? While running our S185 (2006) with 365 hours on it the connection on oil cooler failed sending hyd. oil into the air intake and it ran on hyd. oil until it was gone. I was trapped inside and could not shut it down. What I would like to know is if anyone else has had this problem? This was a potential for a bad fire.

Well not on a skid steer but losts of folks are having this issue with their bobcat tractors

My neighbors T-190 had the same issue last fall. He told me the engine was running beyond full rpm until he was able to get it to shut off.

This happened to me on an s300K. the line didn't come all the way off but the o rings failed at just a few hours and sent oil everywhere. I was mulching at the time! the smoke was awful but I didn't lose all the oil at one time. Enough to have it blowing out the sides and dripping out the bottom, however.
