Kubota Loader Buckets the same - LA504 & LA403 ?

I thought there were 2 different buckets for the 504? The light duty and the normal duty buckets?
There is a 54" and a 60" bucket available for the LA504 loader. Probably not the heavy duty build you are looking for.

While the bucket from the LA 402/403 are not interchangeable with the bucket of the 504 loader I think a member here posted about putting a 60" bucket on the B2620. So. The new B2x20 and B3200 loader arms appear be the same dimensions for the buckets to be used like that. That is a good thing.

Yeah - that was me I got a 60 inch bucket and QA from the B3200 that fits my B2620. Forks are on order and taking forever to get.

I think they are calling the 60 inch bucket "light material" mostly because of the span. It's the same gauge metal as my 50 inch and probably the 54 inch. The top bar of the 60 inch is thicker however and that helps. Still - a very heavy rock or something might bend the bottom (and cutting edge) because of the longer span there than the 50 or 54 inch. I think that is why they are cautioning you by calling it light material. It holds around half again as much material as the 50 inch bucket.

If the buckets where made of heavy gauge steel like the commercial ones they would probably use up a lot of capacity of the smaller loaders. That's my guess. They are pretty rugged for residential use though.

Just to clear the air,

The LA 504 uses a 54" (B1625 @ 176#) or a 60" (B1626 @ 180#) bucket and it works with the B3200 tractors. BTW the model indicates the capacity in kg (500 x 2.2 = 1100 lbs.) - the "4" indicates it is the fourth generation / design.

The LA403 uses a 54" (B2345 @ 187#) or a 60" (B2355 @ 216# ) bucket - it works with the B2630/3030 tractors.

You can see the difference in the weights and I suspect the material gauge is likely heavier.
