I don't, but I think run time and general convenience could be an issue...

This technology really isn't ready for prime time yet..beyond golf carts.

I saw a tv show where the electric went "head to head" with a gas. The gas edged it out in the various comparsions but the electric will continue to improve.

i wonder about run time more than anything. the site does describe "generator rack" mount on the back of the bike, that doesn't sound good or very green if you have to haul your generator (with gas engine) to recahrge it. did notice that all the videos of it sliding back and forth under power are on wet grass, a good sized atv will do that on dry ground. local dealer said he'd call me next time he gets on in.

I would be concerned with parts and service after the sale more than anything. Plus it bothers me they have typos in the are with important specs (and no run time listing with the other other stats)

I would LOVE a totally quiet ATV, that would be great for hunting!!

I have been checking out electric ATV's. Seems like a good application for light chores, getting around, on our 10 acres.

I test drove the Polaris electric UTV. Felt heavy, cumbersome. 700# of batteries!! Might as well use tractor.

I looked at the info on Barefoot Motors electric ATV. Looks like a good design & fit for my needs. But the choice of Lithium Iron Phosphate Batteries is extravagant, drives initial & replacement battery costs way up (batteries now around $3,000!). I don't need all the extra range Lithium Iron Phosphate Batteries provide. I would have test driven if there were a local dealer.

I test drove the E-Force Electric ATV. Overall favorable impression, except steering was VERY stiff. Dealer said about 25 mile range. Pricey at $7,195.

I test drove the ZAP Dude Electric ATV. Handles well, plenty of power. 25 mile range is more than adequate for use here. $5,500, still not cheap. I went for it, now on order.
