mine is 2" with a 3" long sweep.......the electric guy said it all looked good and never told me to put pull boxes in......

shoot, i wish i had run larger for the phone and cable, now.....i guess i can put a pull box in for them and use a reducing coupling to go larger the rest of the way up.......

You know in alot of developing countries that they are not even bothering with hardwire phone and cable systems, they are going directly to cell phones and satelite receivers. So I wouldn't be too concerned about cable for phone and tv getting any larger, and small diameter cables will fit in your conduit.

But the backhaul link is often fiber (especially in countries where the theft of copper cable is an issue, you cannot get much for a fiber cable at the scrap metal buyer), I would recommend planning to get fiber in at some point in the future.

We have our phone, cable tv and internet from our cable tv company, so for now i'm only pulling in coax. The other conduit is there with a pull rope inside, so if we ever switch to verizon fios they can pull in fiber.
