Tractor
L3240, Ford 8N 1948
I looked at the three tractors I have been reviewing today and the L3240 seems to be the one that jumps out at me.
The question I have is has anyone had problems with all the electronics on this tractor? Seems that most things are turned on or off with buttons.

Not something I'd worry about. I have the exact tractor your looking at with 51 hours in 2 years. It lives in a barn and has been perfect!

I'm sure if there is an issue I can get it fixed or the dealer can do it. Though as I said for me its a non-issue the tractor is fantastic.

I've got a big brother to the L3240, a 4240. Absolutely no problems in first two hundred hours over three years.

They have not been a problem to date. That is a good point, where other makes have had problems with power washing and more we have not seen any issues or had to do any repairs on the electricals.

Does anyone know if the 2008 and 2009 models are the same. I've 2 available . The 2008 model is 2300.00 cheaper than the 2009.

I have a L3130 3 years old and 300+ hrs without a problem since purchased new. Knock on wood........Still amazes me........:)

My 2007 L3240 with LA724 loader has been great - no problems at 180 hrs on the clock. I share your distrust of the 'lectronic stuff. My 2005 Mazda's audio/clock console display is schizzing out and I don't even want to find out how much fixing it would be. Actually, I'm not very aware of the electronics on the Orange Menace other than when I switch the display to show my PTO RPMs.

I have the same unit as well. just rolled over 400 hours over 2 years and no problems. I keep it in a barn out of the weather and don't wash the instrument panel just to be safe.

I also worried about all the sensors in the HST Plus when I read the service manual but Kubota done their homework so if most sensors fail they default back to a mode that the unit can still be used, just some options may go away.

Great tractor, very happy so far.
