What is the best switch to use to control my grapple open and close functions. I want to build control unit around this type of switch. I have the dual solenoid valve. I don't want a joystick.(too expensive).
Thanks

Need to know first if you are using a "diverter" type solenoid or a true "3rd function" solenoid valve.

The diverter is just a single pole momentary ON switch (SPST)
The other needs a 3 position, center OFF switch that's momentary ON each side of center. (DPDT). Also listed as (ON)OFF(ON) sometimes.

There are electric joystick handles that are wired up for those kinds of applications. A thumb control or similar would be ideal.
