cruise on bx1860 pricing

How much should the cruise control option cost on the bx1860?

Basically my wife bought me a bx1860 secretly for my birthday, its all great, but its missing cruise control (at least as far as I can tell). I had asked the sales person if it came with cruise control and he said it did. My wife told him I wanted what I looked and talked to him about. Now the tractor we got delivered doesn't seem to have it. We are going to complain about it, but I first want to know how much money we are talking about?

I think it's about 75.00 dollars. If they said it was included they should give it to you. It's extra on the BX1860. Unless it was your salesmans first day on the job he should have known that. Good luck

Well I'm glad the cost is not very high, and I hope they can add it at the dealer, but if he wants to charge me for it or they can't add it, I am prepared to return the tractor. It just angers me that my wife tried to give me such a great gift/surprise, and even though the Kubota dealer was aware of everything for weeks, they ended up messing the delivery and now this option which we specially asked about.
Now it makes me wonder what else we talked about that was an option and not standard!

Wow your sales man is either messed up guy either he is very new or he is lazy to read product manuals. My salesman was a Robot. And by I want to say that you are such a lucky guy that your wife secretly bought you this tractor. I am Jealous.

Another how far you are cruising that you need cruse control. hmmm

Salesman did not get it right. Stuff happens.

Adding it should be very easy. Mowing a couple of flat Kansan acres I assume, so cruising is kinda cool, I guess. It is an easy option, as i understand, to buy and install. I wouldn't let this be the rain on my sunny day.

If it hasn't been delivered yet, perhaps a call put in to the dealership and make a change order to larger BX, with the cruise standard, is what you really want to do anyhow. Ask yourself how much of this is buyer's remorse.

I've hit cruise by mistake on my BX2230 and really hate it. I would rather not have it. Save the $75 and buy you some lights...

I don't have my lawn yet but when I do I plan on mowing about 400 feet in length at a time, I figured cruise might help. I am one of those people who uses cruise control in my car inside the city.

No buyers remorse yet. My wife was just really upset that they ruined everything she had planned, and on top of that, the guy either misinformed us about the cruise feature, or forgot or something. He isn't new, and supposedly he is the Kubota expert at the dealer, so I am guessing he just forgot, but we'll see once he replies to my email.

Does anyone know if the cruise can be added or was that a factory option? thats my main worry now.

It can be added, AFAIK. It is an option on the 1860, and likely can be dealer installed, although factory installation would have been simpler.

On another thread, a fellow posted this pic, 4 hours into his installation.
Might really want to have the dealer do the install.

Jeez that looks scary. Still waiting for the dealer to reply. I am not using the tractor until he does.

Some people like cruise, some don't. I wouldn't have anything without it, but my wife mows more than I and never uses it.

I am assuming you have checked your paperwork to make sure there were no errors.
