I pull one of these with my BX1860....I load it up with concrete blocks and it makes nice 3" plugs. I bought mine new unassembled off Ebay several years ago for under $200, but I think they are over $400 new at a dealer or the Depot... It is much better quality than the Agrifab ones I have seen.

I bought a 48" aerator at TSC for around $200 . It works well for my use ,as I don't have a very large area to do . I will say that If I had seen the JD unit listed above I'd have most likely bought it ,as it seems to be better quality that the one I purchased .
As far as weight , they rely on things like cinder blocks for weight . I use 60lb sand tubs .

If you are going to use it much, buy a quality one from LandPride. They have 3 different series. I promise you won't be sorry! Land Pride Core Aerators I have the heavy duty CA2548.

The heavy duty series is about $2200. I have not priced the two lighter duty series. I know that your company makes a core aerator. HOWEVER, yours are on a solid drum which will cause the spoons to tear out the turf if you do any turning at all. I'm sure you make a very fine product for the money that will satisfy most folks needs; but we aren't comparing apples to apples here. I do know that you only have to buy and cry once with LandPride!

In the past, we have sold First Choice, Kioti , Midwest etc.aerators designed like the Landpride and I have used all 4 and can tell no difference in performance. Ken Sweet
