Wallenstein BX42 etc - Connecticut

I have just about decided to bite the bullet & buy a BX42. I am having a hard time here in central Connecticut finding a dealer with one in stock. I would really like to give it a good look over before buying one (even if it is just to 'look intelligent').

Does anyone know a dealer who stocks these? I'd be willing to go as far north as Pittsfield or west into NYS some.

After you look, we have the BX 42S today at $2,995. Shipping would not be too bad to a business or picked up at a truck terminal close by. Ken Sweet

lol! maybe that's why everyone I called doesn't have them - they list no dealers in CT

I think most CT dealers carry Salsco chippers as they are made in CT

Salsco woodchippers and brush chippers, PTO and Engine Driven; Gravity Feed and Hydraulical/Power Feed.

LMAO! They are 2 miles from my house. I dropped my motorcycle off for new tires right next door to them last week, DOH!

I got my BX42 from Woodward Crossings too, and I can also vouch for them being good folks.

They were the cheapest and shipped it right out. Great people to deal with.

Good luck getting a Salsco chipper for the price of a Wallenstien. Salsco are super well made but pricey.
