I am in the process of purchasing a new RTV 900 Worksite model.

I am planning on having the entire thing Rhino Lined, at least the bed and all the plastic trim (hood, fenders, floorboards, etc.) Has anyone had any trouble with spray in bedliner material on plastic surfaces?

Below is a list of extras the dealership is going to install for me @ 0% for 48mths.

2" lift (from Essex Mfg., essexmfg.com)
3k Warn Winch
high capacity, high mount air cleaner
snap in plastic windshield
hand throttle
26" Surefoot Tires and wheels (from Essex) (Keeping the stock tires and wheels too)
rearview mirror
plastic roof
full body spray on armor (rhino lining as mentioned above)
skid plates (essex)
spinner knob

Anything else that would be a good addition?
Anything you have now you wish you had or hadn't installed from the start?

I am also going to put some RAM Mounts in various places for various accessories.

Any advice for a new RTV owner?

I would suggest you get a 4k winch instead of a 3k. When I purchased my 4010 Kawasaki Mule, dealer told me not to purchase a winch that would just handle your unit. I ended up buying a 4k viper winch later on. Just my opinion though.

I was thinking of maybe a 6k.

Also I want to rig up another winch on a 2" receiver hitch adapter so I can use it in the front or back of the rig. Maybe a 3k on the hitch and 4 or 6k mounted on the machine.

Sounds like a good list. Where do Essex show skid plates? Thanks

Who makes a snap in windshield for RTV900?? Pictures... price? I often thought that there should be a windshield comparable to a golf cart windshield that would be available for the RTV's but I haven't seen them... I'm talking about one that would be held on with snap on removable rubber brackets just like on a golf cart.

The skid plates are not listed on the website. I requested a price list for their Kubota products, the skid plates were listed on their price list/brochure. $99 for a engine and transmission skid plates.

As far as the plastic windshield. It is from Essex too. It is plexiglass with some brackets that snap onto the ROPS. Should only take about 5 min to install or remove from the machine. This is the picture from their website. I think it was around $120.

I make no guarantees on these prices as I do not have a price sheet with me right now. It only took 2 or 3 days to get a price sheet to me.

Come to think of it I am getting just about all of my extras from Essex.

Not to burst your bubble...but I'd go with a glass windshield...that plastic will scratch like nobody's business..Trust me on this one.

I also agree on the glass windshield verses the plastic.coobie

Why spray the plastic with bedliner? It will look terrible.(just my personal opinion) The floor is a great idea to have sprayed. Our floors have rusted out and been replaced. One of ours has already re rusted. Have them rhino line the inside of the posts of the bed they rust out. I would also get a canopy top. the metal ones will take a beating. I do not know about the plastic ones. I will also add the disclaimer that they are not like an atv off road they are a work vehicle. I would like Roof mounted work lights if I owned one.
