I am down to tweaking options on a 4720. I am unsure if I need the power beyond hydraulic option. (I thought I was being asked to join some new-age cult when I was asked if I wanted the option.)

I'm scratching my head trying to figure out what attachements I will have that may need such a thing. I am pretty certain that I am going to have a log splitter pretty soon. Do those typically need such an option? Or can I operate the log splitter from a single rear port? Everything else on my radar screen is just ordinary PTO kind of stuff.

Thanks,
Chris

A log splitter is a typical application for power beyond. So is a backhoe, hydraulic auger, etc.

Correct. Backhoes, Logsplitters, Post driver's...anything that has it's own control valve. You can also plumb in rear remotes using it.

It is easy to add later though...

Speaking of Log Splitter's I just picked up a TSC Country Line (Speeco), 22 ton log splitter. I am building hoses for it and will run it off of my rear hydro quick connects.

I got PB installed this weekend. I had to remove both of my rear tires to get the installation completed. I will try it out with my log splitter soon.
