Several years ago I broke one of the draft arms on my Kubota B7100 when transporting the tractor. The rototiller was on and chained in the up position. This held one side nicely but not the other on which the arm broke.

Some one hundred and fifty dollars later for parts and all was well again.

Now lets not talk about whats buried under an avoidable soft fluffy looking snow mound up in the Backcountry!

While box blading one of the lower arms on the 3PH snapped in half about at the middle a few years ago. HARD steel. I hired a pro welder to weld it back together and to add another piece of steel on edge below the weld to reinforce it I had him reinforce the other side in the same way as a preventative measure. Years later and so far so good I think the arms are way stronger now than when new.

There is no feature in the pasture in question capable of massively jarring the tractor EXCEPT this one place. (OK there are others but they are trees, near trees, little feeder creek bed at upstream end of a pond and so forth, all of which are eminently avoidable and CAN NOT be masked by the snowfall we had) BUT... this one place... which I failed to recall correctly when the visual cues were covered up by snow was available to assist Murphy in his time of need to deal with me.
