This is so true, we love applewood in our smoker. Smells great
in the fire pit too. Did a brisket with it last summer, let it
go all day in the smoker with apple wood and it was great.
We don't really care for the mesquite flavor as much.

I've bought over 80 trees from Cummins in the last two years, and I can vouch for their great service. Vintage Virginia Apples Vintage Virginia Apples is another great source for apples. It's getting late for a spring planting, but there's plenty of time for research.
