bobcat ct235
Let me start out by saying that I have owned a Kioti for over 20 years. It is a LB1714 with fel, and has been a great machine with less then $150 in new
parts in that time. About 2 months ago I decided to get a newer tractor and
when I visited Wallace tractor, Rick explained he could not talk orange as he was unsure what his status was going to be. I sort of had my eye on a CK30gear. I called a couple of weeks later and found out no more Kioti and the ones on the lot were leaving the next day, and I didn't know what the story was on Bobcat. Another week went by and I needed a part for my tractor, called another dealer and was told the number I had was no good even though it was right out of the Kioti parts book. Since it was a Saturday my wife and I decided to take a ride down to Ricks and see what my options were if I could not get the part. Now I knew they no longer carried Kioti and could have told me too bad go see someone that carries Kioti. Rick was not in. Amy found a good number as they use to stock the part, then looked up the inventory sheets of Kioti parts they had boxed to send back and found the box number. She went out back opened the box and handed me the part I needed. What terrific people to have on your side. Other dealers take note, because of this great service I now have the best of two worlds, a new Bobcat CT235, and a terrific dealer. WHAT WAS KIOTI THINKING?

I'm not the slightest bit surprised by your story and how Amy helped you. They've helped me out on numerous occasions, including being on the phone with me for half an hour reading from a wiring diagram and giving advice while I was under the tractor looking for a loose electrical connector. You couldn't find a better dealer.

Glad you have a new albino variant. The CT235 is a very nice machine.

No,it is a hydro. I talked my nephew into buying a DK35SE from Rick a couple
of years ago. His tractor is a gear, but says if he was to do it again he would get a hydro, and this changes my mind to go hydro. I know I will lose a coouple of HP but going from 17 hp to 35 hp this will not be a problem.

Actually, the DK35se and CT235 each put out 38hp not 35 so even after the HST losses you are likely at least doubling your prior hp. Have fun.

The CT235 is a 34hp and is the equivalent of the CK35
The CT335 is the 38hp equivalent to the DK35SE:thumbsup:

Of course. I have gotten my Kioti and Bobcat designations mixed up.:confused2:

Hey List,

I'd like to make a quick chime in about Wallace tractor as well. They are wonderfull!

I ordered my filter kit from them for my 50hr service, I had questions and they made sure I got the correct filters the FIRST time. I know my "tractor of color" won't mind wearing bobcat filters at the next service interval... provided they will fit..

Will they fit Rick? (dk40SE hst vs bobcat .... CT440??)

Carry on,
Phill
