You might be thinking of the TR7 -- the TR6 had round headlights all the way up until 1976, the last year it was made.

Willie: good pics and writeup. That TR6 is a collectable car you might want to get some pics of and run some ads in the car forums.

I have a CK30 with less than 20 hrs on it and love it. Have one question for you, and any other Kioti owners, about gear selection. On mine, when I want to change gears, with clutch in, it soemtimes feels "stuck" and requires giving the hydro pedal a slight bit of pressure, I guess to move the gears, as it then goes into the gear I want.

Is this normal? Dealer says it is, but it seems to me it aught to be smoother.

Sorry, my CK is a gear job. I'm too simple for that fancy hydro stuff. ;)

The ole TR has seen it's better days, but is mostly there from initial inspection. Wish I had the time to mess with it, but fear it needs way more than I could give it. My seventeen year old daughter got excited, till I pointed out that is was far from a "runner" at this point... Would be cool ride though.

So, some of you guys like old British sports-iron huh? Buddy of mine from HS had one just like this I believe if memory serves. His was (or is) Brit racing green. Here's a few more views of it. The tin is OK, engine/tranny appear intact but interior & top are rough to say the least, seats gone and lets just say it has under carrige air conditioning.

The TR6 looks like a 71, early 70's pre 73 as they got rubber bumperets in 1973, looks like she needs a lot of work, the metal they used melts real fast sadly, I had a 71 and lots of great memory's, the only down side of ownership, is you never new if it was going to be a driving day, or a repair day. the TR6 has the nices line and looks of the Triumps TR3, TR4 and the wedge TR7:D

Willikioti: (love ur moniker) I think you might be surprised at the response you'd get if you run some ad's and pics on some car forums. I'm not into Brit cars particularly but know theres lots of guys that are.

As to real coyote's, my daughter lives in Santa Fe, NM and has a couple that regularly visit her house to see if theres any scraps around. Mostly her crow family eats all the scraps and not much left for them.

I'll probably shop 'er out (the TR). I'd just as soon see it go to a good home. Too much to do so I'll never get to it. Not really my thing either (not that I'd turn down a completed one....).

As to the four legged coyotes, in NY they've really gotten to nuisance pest levels. With pelt prices in the basement and no natural predation populations have exploded. To the point where they'll actively hunt domestic pets in the suburbs. Coyotes spotted in urban environments not uncommon anymore either. On any given night I can hear the hunting parties right outside my backdoor. Lots of mice and other natural food sources out here in the country but ocassionally they get live stock as well. I get along with 'em just fine as long as they know their place.........

Nice Pictures. But, man that tractor is way too shiny and clean!

Mine is covered in stone dust right now, plus a leak at the remote patch panel has left a lot of fluid on the pto and tow bar. Just finished spreading 140 tons of Crusher Run. Tractor has been great! Due to access, I had to get CnR delivered 12 tons at a time. Between deliveries, I had to pretty much finish spread the last load before the truck returned with the next. Surprisingly to me and the driver, I was able to keep up. Got it all spread in one day with just me and my Kioti. The road is also steep with a sharp turn just as it gets steep. Dump truck got stuck twice and couldn't make it back out.....until my little CK pulled him out.:D Wish I had photos of that! Now that I've finished that project, I'll have to clean her up, fix the leak, and do the 400 hour service.

Mowog is right, TR7 had the flip up lights. As I remember, one of them always got stuck up, so the car looked like it was winking.
TR6 had the same round lights the TR3 had.
I am sure someone would love have that thing as a project.

Tell more about the process, and post a picture of the drive. That is one of my next projects, but I am hoping 27 tons (one load) will take care of it. I don;t even let them drive down my driveway.

The turn and the slope sound like the same setup I have.

Gittup, pix would have been key! But I do understand, hard to pull out the heavy to keep your project moving while playing photog. "Hey, wait there just a minute while I get my camera" doesn't go over too well when the guy just wants to get back to the quarry and sure doesn't want evidence of his stuck!! :)

I don't always carry a camera, but somedays I do. I will probably take many at the new property just because there will be a BIG transformation over time (I hope!). As long as my tractor, my health and ambition stay in tune..... Somedays I enlist the assistance of one of my daughters to document my activities.
