I am thinking of selling my homemade plow. I am putting together a new one with angle cylinders. What is it worth?
22 inches high x 66 inches wide, manual angle.

I'd guess about $500...

I've seen complete JD OEM blade kits, including quick attach and hydraulics being sold for less than $800. I think the blade assembly is like $600 new by itself. Based on this, while your homemade blade is nice, I'd think closer to $350 or so. Knowing how nice the power angle is, if it were me I'd be looking to get the real McCoy. I think that pushes the value of yours down some. OTOH, there are guys asking and getting $1200 to $1500 for the complete kits. So, it might be worth $500 to someone. Timing might make all the difference. Not a good time of year where there are a lot of guys chomping at the bit for something to move snow. I'd wait until the first snowfall, and then advertise it.

What better place to get honest opinions than here. I am not looking to get rich, just a fair price. Better than sitting around rusting away.

Wow...not on the East Coast!

I'd say $350-$500. Custom paint does need an added 10%. Good luck with selling it and cant wait to see the new one!

Oh sure load on the pressure! I have been waiting 22 years to have angle cylinders and I'm gonna have them now one way or the other. I have not mentioned to the wife about a new painting, like Kennyd told me awhile back (Kennyd is helping with the new plow blade) "that is almost grounds for divorce", if that happens I guess I will move in with Kennyd.;)
