Trailer for B7800

Folks,
Also looking for a trailer for my B7800, the back tires are filled and I have a BH attached. I have a Toyota Tundra that has an 8700 lb trailer capability and it has the towing package option. Which trailer do you guys suggest?

Hi Drew,

I am also kinda looking at trailers. I have a similar sized tractor (B2630), although without the BH. I think the general concensus is that with the B series you need a tandem axle trailer (7000 lbs capacity), probably somewhere in the neighborhood of 14 or so feet in length. Others who have actually trailered these tractors can probably add more as to what works best.

16' Dual Axle 7000lb capacity is what I've used to move a B7800 FEL, L3240 FEL, B3200 FEL, BX2660 FEL MMM Tiller, and a F2680. No brakes on trailer. Wood floor. Reinforced web rear gate.

I have a B7800 with the tires filled. The trailer I bought to tow it is a tandem axle PJ trailer. It's 16' with a beavertail. PJ trailers are very well made and have powder coat paint. The trailer is rated for 7,000 #. The trailer itself weighs 1,500#. My B7800 with the filled tires weighs 2,200 #. Add the loader is an additional 600#. Add a RFM or a rotary cutter is an additional 700#. So if I load my B7800 on the trailer with the loader and a RFM or rotary cutter attached the whole tractor package is 3,500#. The tractor package plus the 1,500# weight of the trailer I am pulling is now 5,000#. Well within your trucks 8,700 limit. Pulling a trailer is the easy part. It's stopping these puppies that will get you in trouble.
