A couple of weeks ago, I posted questions regarding the potential purchase of a used Ford 3000. With your responses, I learned a great deal and felt comfortable enough to close the sale. Just wanted to take a minute and thank everyone that responded and post a few pics from picking up the tractor Friday. I still need to make a trip back to get the rake, but was able to fit the rest on the first trip.

After working with it this weekend, I'm confident it has plenty of power to do what I need. The only thing I found that needs to be fixed so far is the gas gauge.

Thanks again.

Congrats. That's one fine looking 3000.

Congratulations on the purchase. That is interesting with the front snowplow. I don't recall seeing a 3000 setup that way. Of course, we don't have the snow here in Ky that would call for such. That front blade seems like it would do a good job maintaining a trail or gravel driveway also? Ken Sweet

Nice tractor, I just love those old Fords; have to resist the urge to buy one any time I see one.

I've gotten the same comment form other people. Thought maybe it was an aftermarket accessory, but it does have it's own Ford plate on the frame with model and serial numbers. So it must have been an original available attachment.
