RTV1100 Parking Brake

Does your 1100 hold a hill with the PB?...Parked mine on the driveway and found it 25ft down the hill 10 minutes later...Dont tell me that the PB is as good as the BX with the wet brake system...

Mine seems to work ok. It seems to me there is something in the manual about adjusting the parking brake that may be helpful to you.

I'll look into that Randy...With only 10 hours on it, I wouldn't think it would be needed at this point. One time the brake pedal went to the floor with the PB on. Have you ever seen that on yours?

Who know's, the 1100 was creeping towards the wife's Hummer...Attraction maybe?

I don't remember the brake pedal going down when I put on the pb. I just went out and checked with the motor running and not and the brake pedal didn't move at all. I think they are independent of each other. I thought the pb had a cable you could adjust to make it tighter or more effective.
Maybe when you have your foot on the brake pedal on a hill and put the pb on it might go down. I'll have to try that out.

Thanks Randy...It only did that once, but I did find it odd...When it happened, I had the PB on, started it, put the brake on to put it in gear and the pedal sunk once. It did pump back up and the fluid looks fine...An abberation maybe.

Let me know if you notice that...Gonna call the dealer anyway..Too expensive to worry about.
