Hi all,
So I'm currently fixing a small leak but have been curious ever since I installed my T-N-T system.
What is the correct/preferred way to adjust the level of the 3pt arms? With no attachment on - arms at full bottom - rest a level across both of the arms and should the arms be level [with the Hyd arm] fully snugged shut? This would leave no exposed ram arm showing to catch rust, etc,. etc., or should one allow the Hyd arm to be at half mast?
This would allow tilt operations to both sides; although at 1/2 of the full increment. This one has had me puzzled for awhile. Looking to experienced users for their thoughts/useage. Thanks, Greg

I went with the implement level the cylinder is half extended/retracted. This gives adjustment either way.

It is really up to you and what you need at the time, for finish grading I set it up with the mid stroke position as level, allowing tilting in either direction. For ditching I set it up with full tilt to one side to cut a steeper angle. There is no steadfast rule for this.

Well, half mast is what I've been using and its been fine. I just kinda wondered what others were choosing. Also I've read on here about some being overly concerned per rusting up their exposed cylinders on BH's, etc., etc., altho that's not a big concern to me. Depending on which operation is being done seems to make the most sense to me. Thanks for the replies.
