Fluid Film

   / Fluid Film #21
My dealer just delivered a spray can of Fluid Film. They don't carry the gallon jugs.
He was dropping off a quick hitch so we killed 2 birds with one stone.

Cost was $9.78 (including tax). I hope it's as good as you guys say it is!

Did you give up the PEC for a iMatch?

I've still got the PEC. It's been promised to a friend (if he wants it). It'll need new set screws and such.
Why do you ask...are you interested (if he doesn't take it)?
We'll see how this iMatch works out.

BTW, when the salesman dropped off the hitch and Fluid Film, he told me the 790 was probably sold. Pretty good...on their lot for about a week, ten days. Of course, my old 670 (traded off when I bought the 790) was sold in less then a week!

I don't want it-I LOVE my iMatch.

I am curious of your thoughts after you use the iMatch for a while and which one you like better. There are so many opinions and (heated) debates over the two systems I would like to hear from someone who has actually used both and can express a fair comparison between the two.

No problem...give me a few months of use.
With the PEC, you didn't have to align the tractor prefectly with the implement. It appears the hitch will require better alignment when I back up to the implement. Is that how it s with yours?
If the hitch saves some of the grunting, cursing and general all around ranting when rigging the cutter, I'll consider it a success!

Kenny, did you get bushings (for the implement pins) with your hitch? Looks like this one (stock Deere unit) is used for both Cat 1 and Cat 2.

One set of bushings should be supplied with a (new) iMatch-some dealers hold out on them I have heard, but you should get one set "free".

You do have to line up square with the implement, but you can also just "push" the implement a little to get it lined up very easly. You should not have to get off the tractor to hook it up (except for the PTO).

Just bought a can from the local JD dealer yesterday, with tax $9.08. Used it on my sliding gate locks. Raising goats = lots of gates. So far so good.

It's better!

If you like it and want to order more let me know, you can order it of the internet alot cheaper.

Don't hold out on us! There a many of us watching this thread who would love to buy online. Where can you get it?

Before y'all go spending $$ on the S&H, call your local JD Dealer first. They are shown on the FF Website as authorized dealers.
