Hi, How to check the rear axle oil in my 7520 tractor.

Indhrasena.reddy,
What year is your 7520? My 6520 (very similar to your 7520) has the rear axle and transmission fluid all serviced from the servicing filler port just to the right of the 3PH top attach point. This fills the transmission and my left rear axle. To get fluid into the right axle, you have to either tip the tractor with a jack or remove the axle breather assembly (it unscrews easily at the base) and fill the right axle.

I found this out the hard way...........filling the transmission and the axles from the servicing filler port and using the dip stick on the cap to fill to the recommended level. I drove around about an hour with no oil in the axle. I don't remember how I realized there was no oil in the right axle, but now I fill the axles at the axle breathers. I fill the transmission and left axle and check with the dip stick. Then I remove both axle breathers and stick a long screwdriver down into the left axle to check it's level. Then I fill the right axle until the levels on the screwdriver are the same for left and right axles. I was told by my dealer's mechanic that my 2007 has to be done this way. So fill to level with the dipstick, then double check each axle for equal levels on level ground.

I would think if you have axle breathers on both sides it would be basically the same. I do know different years later than mine are different.

Yes, the transmission/hyd. system fluid is added there. But some year models need it filled directly into the right axle breather.
