I have a 1999 TC 33D with about 600 hours. Been a great tractor. I was spraying a soccer field at church yesterday and had a sudden steam antifreeze bath. I thought probably a bad radiator hose.....but I was surprised that the portion of the radiator that is welded on as the superior portion that goes over the coil portion was leaking like crazy all along one edge of the seam where it is "welded" on to the top of the actual coils. Anyone had this happen? Does this sound like something that can be repaired or do I have to get a whole new radiator?? I can't complain too much...this has been a really reliable machine and it is 11 years old. But I have kept it inside, very strict maintainence schedule, etc. Any thoughts from you guys? thanks

I've had a hose going to my radiator fail on my TC33D but the radiator still looks good (keeping my fingers crossed now). I would think with the age you might want to consider a new radiator, but I'm sure others with more experience will give some advice.

During the 11 years did you ever flush and replace the fliud in your radiator?

A new radiator at the dealer will likely be over $600. I'd look into a repair if possible.

Wow I never would have guessed it would cost almost $500 for the less expensive one. I guess they make so many more for cars that they are just that much less expensive. Maybe a repair is the better way to go.

I agree. If you can be without your tractor for a day or two, taking the radiator to a repair shop is the less costly way to go.
