Buying new wiper blades. Could they make it any more complicated?

The local stores don't carry the inserts anymore. Have to buy the whole thing and they want $6-7 compared to the $2-3 that they inserts used to cost. Don't last any longer, either.

Have to walk by those enviro friendly gas cans to get to the wipers, too.

I paid $10.67 including tax for the last pair I bought, $9.66 for the pair before that, so Walmart didn't "Rollback" that price.:laughing:

If I remember correctly, my wife's Suburban has a different length blade for the drivers and passenger side.

Hade to replace them halfway through the winter, she has a bad habit of using the wipers as a brush/scraper.

Desert sun/heat in Phoenix is tough on wiper blades. I began buying Bosch many years ago for all of our vehicles on advice of a friend, last a lot longer than Anco, Trico et all and worth the extra $ plus, change annually.

LOL; here in Florida my wife uses them to "scrape" of lovebugs and mosquitos. The wiper blades will last you around 1 week or so doing that
