Just acquired a Ford 4000 with a loader and am learning all I can about it. Live in Indiana and am wanting to learn all I can. I'm a mechanic by trade and am loving working on this tractor.

Welcome to TBN. Where are you located in Indiana? Sold my '64 4000 with loader to finance my TC40DA. A great utility tractor.

Have you still continued to work on your Ford 4000? I would be curious to hook up with you and swap some information. I just got a Ford 4000 myself, but I'm still in the process of identifying things and even just figuring out exactly what I have. It's a 4 cyl gasoline engine. So it's pre 1964 from what I am reading. If that is the original engine ...which I am told it was.
