John Deere 3520
Just wanted to share that the new 3520 is a great machine. Have a couple of problems with it, the belly mower drifts down in just a couple of mins. and have to raise it again, and the 3pt surges up and drifts down, talked with dealer and there going to install a new deck cyl. and bleed the air in the hyd system, Going to have to get the fuild in the rear tires, put the loader on and is very off blance, but all in all was a great time, got my yard mowed, the barn cleaned out and pasture bush hoged off, then loaded on my trailer and haul to my ground and mowed grass and bush hog more. Only used 7.5 gals of fuel in 11.1hrs on machine , hope to share more.

We gotta see proof! :D Maybe you were snoozing in the recliner and just "dreamed it"! Where's the cut grass and the green machine??

Seems like a lot of fuel for only 11 hrs. Must have had it turned up. I run around 1600 unless I'm using the PTOs. I go literally all day on a 2 or 3 gallons.

I used 6+ gallons in about 9 hours of bushhogging (2,300 rpm) this weekend on a Mahindra 4110.

hey deerecat, can you please let me know what the dealer does to correct the 3 point hitch surging and drifting back down. Mine is doing that also and when I asked the service manager at the dealer, he acted like they would have to tear down the rear of the tractor to replace something and it would be expensive. I hate to take it in there without some ideas of what could be wrong. That is like an invitation to do whatever they want to with it.

I have 200 hours on my 3520 and I love it, so I can understand what you feel. Don't know how you managed to burn that much fuel. For what you say you did, I would have used 3 US gallons.
