There is a complete set of service manuals for these tractors on Ebay for 189.00. That's not too bad considering they are about 400.00 from the dealer. I bought mine on Ebay a yr. or so ago and they are worth that if you plan to do your own service.

Better yet, if you have a computer with a CD drive you can buy the CD for $59 or less I think from John Deere the cd is $59. The CD has everything the books have.

I bought a complete set from ebay several years that were factory sealed in a NH binder for about the same price. Money well spent.

Must be a pirated or used cd. New Holland gets about 380.00 for the cd. It's only 20.00 cheaper than the printed copy. I bought my printed copy on Ebay new for 148.00 a year or so ago. Still 189.00 aint bad considering what NH gets.

Come to think about it I think the $59 CD was for a JD Lawn Mower and not a tractor. Tractors CD's are probably more expensive.

Yea, thats about right for a garden tractor. New Holland is very proud of their service manuals on CD. It's amazing how much they want for some info on a 25 cent cd. I prefer the printed manual myself.
