I WAS leaning heavily towards buying a NH for a number of reasons.....equipped the way I want/need, ergonomics, judging by the NH owners I've talked to they are good reliable tractors for the most part. Seems if they have a weakness it's the electronic safety switches. Since NH is switching to a new supplier for their CUT's I've got concerns about parts availability for existing models. That caused me to put my tractor purchase on hold. Having said that I'd rather risk being able to buy parts for a NH ten years from now than I would trying to find parts for a Chinese tractor 10 years from now.No it obviously was not aimed-- I know and agree that in a number of places in the U.S you can go to the corner store and buy parts for that old Ford -- but have you had to put spark plugs in one of their truck engines lately? The days of simple repairs are gone and parts that used to be interchangeable for 10 years are non existant. If you want to believe that buying a new whatever will mean that you have parts availability, reliability and longevity like those oldies just because the name is the same and the price tag is high go ahead - forgive me if I am a little sceptical about that strategy

Yes, I've changed plugs on a Ford truck recently. Not really a big deal but I wouldn't want to pull the engine!
