Guys, does anyone know where I can buy a good quality ATV dump card that can stand up to some abuse. I will be mainly using this cart for hauling dirt and topsoil as well as fire wood.

I would prefer a tandem axle similar to this one www.agri-fab.com - ATV Tandem Axle Cart by agri-fab. Also I am from Canada so it would have to be from someone that ships to canada. The agri-fab one I mentioned above is sold at the Northern Tool's in the US and it states on their website that they ship to Canada but for some reason they will not ship this unit.

Sears Canada sells the agri-fab line but they want 1299+taxCDN for the cart compared to 599US, once again we get gouged on pricing here in Canada.

Anyway, any help would be appreciated.

Lowe's is an Agri-Fab dealer. Go there and special order the item. There are 16 Lowe's in Ontario.

I take it you're not close to the boarder. I would guess Lowes will not have it that much cheaper than Sears. For $600 you could have a nice trip down here to pick one up.

I bought one of those agri-fab farm and garden push cart shown on that same page and was not happy with the quality. I'd try to see that dump cart before I bought it.

Take a look at the Super 17 ATV by Agri-Fab. It's only a 2 wheel cart but it has a 1500lb capacity. I bought one of these at a Farm-n-Fleet for under $300 a couple of years ago. It will hold 3-4 full buckets dirt from my B2400 and doesn't strain it at all. The only negative is the dump isn't real handy.

Tom H......

That thing is 539 lbs without anything in it! With a 1600 GVW that only leaves less then 1100 lb capacity. Most quads are only rated for about 1000 lb total anyways. That would leave only another 450 lb or so for the machine. If you do use it on any hills and have it loaded it might drag you and the machine all over the place. Not knocking your wants, but I was always told "watch what you wish for it might come true"....hahahaha! Maybe it's a great trailer for flat terrain only. I know I couln't use it.

I always look at what those trailers weigh before doing anything, expecally when using a ATV to pull them. Hills are dangerious when the trailer & load weighs more then the ATV and person on it. Not like pulling a trailer down a highway, at least not in Western Pennsylvania.

Here is what use....had to build them myself because I couln't find anything resonable and stout!

Shmudda,

Nice job on the trailer. Does it tilt/dump by any chance?
