Rubbermaid makes one that is good enough for the kind of girls I go with.

Tom H......

That thing is 539 lbs without anything in it! With a 1600 GVW that only leaves less then 1100 lb capacity. Most quads are only rated for about 1000 lb total anyways. That would leave only another 450 lb or so for the machine. If you do use it on any hills and have it loaded it might drag you and the machine all over the place. Not knocking your wants, but I was always told "watch what you wish for it might come true"....hahahaha! Maybe it's a great trailer for flat terrain only. I know I couln't use it.

I always look at what those trailers weigh before doing anything, expecally when using a ATV to pull them. Hills are dangerious when the trailer & load weighs more then the ATV and person on it. Not like pulling a trailer down a highway, at least not in Western Pennsylvania.

Here is what use....had to build them myself because I couln't find anything resonable and stout!

The OP posted this in the Kubota Tractor Owning and Operating forum, not the ATV forum. He does not say that he would be towing with an ATV; he says he would like to have an ATV trailer. If I were to buy this trailer, I would tow it with my TRACTOR, and I think that since he posted this in the Kubota Tractor Owning and Operating forum (and not in the ATV forum) he may be implying that he wants an ATV type trailer to tow behind his Kubota TRACTOR. Please read carefully before drawing and positing impassioned conclusions.

Actually, I will probably be towing the trailer with both depending if I am going to be using the BH or not. In the fall of the year, once all my fire wood is cut in small junks I usually load my current trailer with the FEL and pull the trailer with my ATV (660 Grizzly). The wood is usually birch which can be quite heavy but I never have a problem towing it.....the land is fairly flat.

Some people buy used pallets, cut the logs in the place where the tree was dropped, stack firewood in bundles on the pallets, then shrink wrap the bundle. The pallet can then be moved with the forks on a 3ph mounted carry all, or with clamp on pallet forks clamped to the FEL bucket, or with quick attach forks replacing the FEL bucket. This makes it easy to move firewood around multiple times prior to use. You could keep numerous bundles in a barn or other location away from the house and move one at a time to the house as needed.

Also, it is very easy to mount a tow ball on the back of a bh bucket and tow a trailer while the bh is on the tractor. There are numerous threads and pics of this in the archives.

I usually buy my firewood which is delivered to my house by a truck in 8' lengths. I then just cut it into 14 to 16" junks and store it in my woodshed then as required I move the wood to the furnace room in my house. It is for reason I need a cart, but I also have a small business using my BX25 and sometimes I need to move large quantities of topsoil, class A road gravel, etc where using the BX bucket just takes to long. For these jobs I will use the ATV, dump cart, and BX to hopefully speed things up.

As for the tow ball on the bucket.....that I have never seen but I will search for it.

I have the ATV trailer Tom H brought to everyones attention and it is excellent. I also have had an Agri Fab (gave it away), it was bent all up in no time. The ATV Wagon gets loaded off my front loader with stone, dirt with out a problem. We hauled close to 1500 lbs in it behind my Rhino in the past (Up hills and down) - the Rhino was working at MAX but I could not get my tractor to the area safely so I had to give it a try and it worked. We have been VERY impressed with trailer and it does have elec brakes so the downhills are no problem. If you tow smart it is extremely stable and strong. I can not complain about the trailer in the least - it will cost you more up front but it will hold up and you wont need to replace it

Tom H how do the electric brakes work i=on that trailer? Are they like a regular trailer and use a connector and an electric brake unit like a truck would have or something else? I made a trailer from an old homemade snow machine trailer. Before that I had a garden tractor trailer, I didn't need a tilt function and the fact it didn't have any suspension just beat it up quickly hauling firewood.

I was using an old three wheeler that did well but it just was too light when going down the hills. I've since added a Honda Big Red side by side to the stable but it's a lot wider and can't get into the tight spots like the more agile three wheeler could.
