He sure did, Heck, that disc would part out over time for over $1000. Most of those cast spacers and box bearings will also work on the later model RW John Deere disc. Ken Sweet

Nice looking disc. $450 is reasonable for that size disc. Looks good behind your L4400 (my neighbor has the same tractor--also nice).
I pull a 13-ft Minneapolis Moline KA1300 disc cut down to 10-ft (by removing several outer pans) with my Mahindra 5525. Works fine in dry soil. Haven't tried it in damp, soft soil. With that heavy frame, I don't need to add weight to get it to dig good. Disc was made for MM by Krause. Paid $600 including delivery.

front from disk to disk is 7' 9" angle is 8' 4", rear disk to disk 8' 9" angle is 9' 2" so i guess the disk is say 8' 6" ? wheels are 7' 10" wide. this was my first disking i ever did, pulled with an L4400 4x4 45hp, the plots were sprayed 3 weeks b4 and hasnt been plowed or disked in over 20+ years, I was impressed with the end result
