Thanks for the reply. That is about the number I had in my head too. The tractor really is in nice shape and runs very well.
There doesn't seem to be a lot of info out on the web about this series. Thanks for the help
Uh.. there are reams and reams of info about that series and tractor on the net. IMHO.. fords are one of the most supported tractors online.
I've paid 1500-3500 fro rowcrops. that one sounds like a 2000$ unit

Thanks for the reply. I'm sure there is a bunch of info out there, but so far I've only searched tractor forums. When I do a search for "ford 901 or 961" there is usually only a couple threads that apply.

Something I noticed while searching about these older tractors is hp can be listed as engine, pto, belt, drawbar, and maybe something else i'm forgetting. I know what engine and pto hp are but what about belt. And is drawbar similair to measuring the hp to the wheels on a car?
Thanks
The belt output on these old tractors is another type of pto (uses a belt pulley on the pto shaft). Generally the belt pto is on the side of the tractor usually slightly ahead of the driver's seat.
