guys looking for my 2nd trailer, what I need 12 ft landscape style dual axle would fit my needs most likly if it's heavy built, solid sides, and sturdy ramps. I have a less expensive 16ft dual axle which I have managed to bend several cross members under the deck.I use my trailer for general stuff which includes hauling my BX with loader on,also haul coal, stone, ect' around 2 1/4 ton, which I then unload with my BX by driving on and bucketing it off. I do not haul tractor and coal together. any thoughts on a tougher under cariage? I do not want to this again. a 7000 lb gross would be enough for my needs but iwould like a stury frame assy. with out going to skid loader trailer.

It seems to me you have the trailer you need already. Just pull the deck off it and have it beefed by a local weld/fab shop then redeck it. You can also have any other mods done to it at the same time. I would have it then Rhino Lined and it will be tough as nails and probably save you 1/2 your money.

Now are you sure you can get your BX on a 12' trailer, get it tied down, and most importantly balanced? That seems awful short to me, especially if you have anything on the 3 point.

We have a 6x10 (I think it is a 6x10 anyways) single axle and it will JUST fit the B7510 with the tiller on (if I back on and lift the back flap of the tiller over the front rail of the trailer).

Diamondpilot you make a good point for sure. I was just thinking that this brand trailer since it seems to be substandard in its crossmembers the side rails are most likly not that heavy either. You are right this trailer works for me most of the time.I never load it full of stone or coal as weight exceeds my gross and 2 ton plus trailer weight [1500] is about right for my truck on hills. I do not belive the 12ft tandam would be a problem for my BX and loader as I back it on and it seems to bal well in the front 12 ft of space, but this is not a 12ft trailer maybe axle spacing on 12 footer would make bal a problem.Dump trailer would be nice at times just can't justify cost for 6-8 loads a year. Thanks for the imput.

Chris Rhino lining is an excellent idea for a trailer. I would like to have both my trailers sprayed from hitch to ramps but am afraid to even have it priced. I love the Rhino lining in my truck bed.

I think you would be surprised at the cost if you pull the deck off and prep it. We have a place that does bed lining that is not a Rhino or any other major brand. Its actually a superior product because it goes on hot versus cold like most.

Anyway they will do a long bet truck over the rails and the tailgate for $380 and have a great reputation. There is a lot of surface area on a long bed truck so I would guess the cost of say a typical 18' trailer would be about the same.

I had them do a Bush Hog and they charged me $150. It still looks new nearly 10 years later and will never rust away like all the others I have seen.

They have also done many Jeeps and farm/industrial equipment. It holds up well and never scratches.
