It could be done on this site, rather than eBay ... in a single thread. Just start a new thread, state that bidding starts at 10 cents, state a bid increment of say 10 cents in the beginning & increasing as the bids go higher (tallyho8 states the increase scale), & state an ending date/ time.

Bidders just "post" their bid the same way you normally post here, out in the open where of course everyone can see. Obviously a bidder posting a price LOWER than a previously posted price would just be ignored.

tallyho8 would just use the date/ time of each post of the official clock. The first bid submitted AFTER the stated ending time of the auction doesn't count, along with any others.

I don't even see where you'd have to get permission to do this? Just do it!

I was not implying to disrespect anybody! Or even do anything ownership doesn't want done.

In order to do anything that relates to ecommerce in any method, there hosting website must have been identified with the state the organization is incorported in. In the absence of that, any forum that holds the appearance of revenue production thru the use of an auction or auction like activites are subject to state guidelines.

TBN unless I am mistaken does not have any relation to auction authoriity.

Anyway, in another thread he made a statement that he has legal issues with the auction, while he did not go into detail, I believe him saying that is enough...
