just asked me what I was doing. I'm hammering away on the keyboard. I stopped, looked at her and said, "I just told a guy how to dig a hole with a shovel." She stops, considers for a few moments, shakes her head, and walks away kinda chuckling to herself. She obviously doesn't get it. But then, she doesn't ask that much any more either

My wfe always wondered why when I started a brush pile fire all the neighborhood men would migrate over (like moths) with six packs and watch the fire with me like it was the first time fire had been discovered. If she has to ask, it's no use explaining it to her, she'll never understand anyway so I just shrug my shoulders and smile.

Not sure the answer "I'm talking on the phone" is the answer they want to hear, but it is usually the answer they get.

I use that one... which I think is better than the real answer "Getting *($$ed 'cause every time I am trying to do something or my hands are dirty someone is ringing my dang phone!"

My wife asks me about once a month why I am buying more equipment. I tell her that I am in the business of buying and selling equipment and the process never ends. I believe she thinks, If I buy 50K in machinery that gives her a reason to buy a new Cadillac SUV? Ken Sweet

OK, why did you guys marry these women if you don't get along with them or like them? Because it seems to me you don't.
I love my honey, we do things together and are interested in each others projects. It's called life, if you live with someone you don't like then get a mirror, you're the one in trouble.
