Nah, they're different and that's one reason why we like them. I get along great with my honey for 20 years now but our minds do not work the same way. IMO, this is what makes a married couple great parents.

OK, why did you guys marry these women if you don't get along with them or like them? Because it seems to me you don't.
I love my honey, we do things together and are interested in each others projects. It's called life, if you live with someone you don't like then get a mirror, you're the one in trouble.

I don't hate my wife. We have these silly conversations all the time. We both shrug our shoulders and laugh at the whole silly spectacle. We love each other and enjoy our differences and think about how boring it would be if we were both exactly alike.

It's a wacky, fun life, and I love it!

Wait until you are up on the roof hanging onto the chimney for dear life with one hand and trying to fix the antenna mount with the other and DW calls on the phone to pass the time of day...

Well Rob- D, I will stick with Wife Unit vs. 1.0 . I could upgrade to Wife Unit version 9.5, but I hear she has a lot of bugs too. I 'll deal with the bugs I am familiar with. You might want to lighten up a bit. I suppose you truly believe wives don 't joke about their husbands. Guess you never had the opportunity to sit in on a girl talk session with the hubbies not around. Oh to answer your question, you asked why we married them. I had Wife 1.0, but that had issues. Then I tried Wife 2.0, which was better. Then I got rid of Wife 2.0 for a while, now I am back with Wife 2.0 which is now Girlfriend 2.1 and may well become Wife 3.0.

Wives sitting around talking the same way are just as bad, they do it so we do it? Good defense, that justifies it.

We don't do it, it's called respect! It's not a matter of "lightening up". I don't buy the mars/venus garbage. Two thirds of the people who get married get divorced, maybe you should talk to them about lightening up.

You guys should be embarrassed, everyone on the planet that does it should be embarrassed. It makes a statement about you and it's not a good one.

Too much tofu maybe. Banter is good for the soul. Been with one wife for my whole life and we tease each other mercilessly. I'd worry if she stopped ribbing me.
